Running.

I set my new personal best today: 7.2 miles in ~1hr 30. Although in terms of miles per minute ratio it's actually a regression on my 6 mile previous best. I'm focusing on distance and endurance rather than speed, which I'm hoping will come as my health and fitness improve.

My muscles are accepting these new demands and my diet is assisting my endurance and energy levels. I feel like my body is coming to terms with our new arrangement, although it still needs a lot of convincing; my achilles tendon took the brunt of it today and is now very sore & stiff. Looks like I'll have to put my feet up for a while.
